We had so much fun at Que(e)ry: The Library is Open that we’re coming back for a special Thanksgiving weekend sequel!
We hope you’ll join us at Public Assembly (in the Front Room) on Saturday, November 24, 10pm until close, for our eighth party: Que(e)ry: Graphic Content
Veteran Que(e)ry DJs Shade Parade, Shomi Noise, and Patrick Robbins, are back for another set. And as always, we’ll have gogo dancers and real live queer librarians!
21+; Suggested Donation. All proceeds benefit for the Tom of Finland Foundation.
UPDATE: In response to Hurricane Sandy, additional proceeds are designated for the Ali Forney Center, and Urban Librarians Unite will be on hand to accept new and gently-used children’s books for its Children’s Book Relief Drive.
The first 100 donors get a free beer courtesy of Public Assembly!
If I go to NJ for Thanksgiving, I could conceivably go to this.
DAMMIT. Wish this were happening sometime November 16th-18th when I’ll be in NY! This party is everything I love.
